The Green Park Triathlon 2014 in aid of Sport Relief now has only a handful of entries left

Thanks very much for registering to take part in the Green Park Sport Relief Triathlon 2014, there are now over 350 competitors registered for the Green Park Triathlon on 19th March, for what promises to be the largest ever field for the event in aid of Sport Relief.

So…  If you haven’t already started it’s time to kick start your fundraising!

We’ve been massively inspired by the efforts of Davina McCall in completing her own unique triathlon in aid of Sport Relief ( In 2013 the Green Park Triathlon raised a total of £45,000 for Comic Relief and we’re desperate to match that again this year, so please mention to your friends, family and colleagues you’ll be completing your own Davina-style challenge.  We’d like all competitors to raise £100 or more and even If you’re a seasoned Triathlon competitor then perhaps incentivise sponsors by beating your personal best for the event or the course records from last year set by Callum, Ellie in the Individual Sprint and James & Clare in the Funathon, see last years full results at the following links. As a competitor in the Green Park Sport Relief Triathlon you will have been set up with you own unique Sport Relief Giving page, so tracking your sponsors donations couldn’t be easier.  And don’t forget even if you’re already started your fund raising there are some brilliant prizes on offer to all participants who raise £100 or more, including Apple iPads!, each £100 raised will earn you another ticket to enter into the raffle.

Post-Race Green Park Triathlon Party

You are invited to join the Green Park Triathlon Party on Wednesday 26th March at 6pm.  The event will be held at Zest Brasserie in Lime Square, and we’ll be presenting all of the prizes for fundraising and for fastest finishers, as well as doing the iPad Raffle for >£100 fundraisers,  Tickets are £10 (including BBQ dinner and £1 donation from zest to Sport Relief) and should be purchased in advance via the following link: so please bring some friends and join in the celebration.

Competitor Briefing – Thursday 13th March 2014 – 5:30pm-6:30pm”

“There will be a competitor briefing THIS THURSDAY evening at the Conference Centre, 100 Longwater Avenue, Green Park.  Race Director Andy Whitwell and Dom Dos Remedios will talk you through the Triathlon courses, timings and safety, and Ellie Gosling of Barnes Fitness will then give her top tips for a successful race.  All will be on hand to answer any questions afterwards.”
